Mag Fish Nano is suitable for glass up to 8mm thick.
Mag Fish XL is suitable for glass up to 12mm thick.
The algae cleaning magnet always comes in two halves which hold together. In order to separate the magnet, slide the two halves away sideways. Vice versa to replace.
Never place your fingers between the two halves; this can cause contusions.
The cleaner consists of two halves: a water and an outside part. The water part is rough on the inside and a Cleaning Pad on the outside; this half should be placed in the water.
The outside part has a soft felt lining and a sticker on the outside; never place this part in water.
Cleaning Pad:
If the inside of the water part shows marked soiling, use the Cleaning Pad to rub the inside of the magnet clean. The Mag Fish algae cleaning magnet can be left in the aquarium all the time without problems.
In the case of salt water aquariums, however, you must remove the Cleaning Pad as it can rust. Rinse the Cleaning Pad with fresh water after use in salt water. Never use the Mag Fish algae cleaning magnet for plastic aquariums. If the water part comes into contact with the bottom of the aquarium, it can pick up grains of sand which can then scratch the surface of the glass.
