PREIS AQUARISTIK - a company that has become an integral part of the world
of aquarium keeping. Klaus Georg Preis, a pioneer of salt water aquarium keeping,
founded the company in 1967 with four products for the preparation of saltwater.
Intensive research resulted in the continuous development of new products.

In 1976 PREIS AQUARISTIK became one of the first groups ever to successfully breed
sea creatures in an artificial environment. Numerous successful breeding programmes
in saltwater aquariums led to new products for water treatment, followed by filter
materials, technical accessories and nutritional products.

PREIS Sea Salt was first introduced in 1985.
This product has become widely accepted due to its ease of use and practicality.

When Klaus Georg Preis died in 1991, his wife Cornelia Preis took over the management of the
company. Cornelia Preis has launched 16 further products, undertaken extensive
construction works to expand warehouse and production facilities and built a display area
where new products are developed and tested.

Here aquarium keepers and retailers can marvel at the possibilities open to them in the
growing field of saltwater aquarium keeping.

Sandra Preis has been working in the company since 2003. Fascinated by the marine
aquarium world, she not only runs the department but is also responsible for the advertising,
the planing as well as all arrangements of the trade fairs.
